Ethiopian, Cuba Agreed to Strengthen TiesJanuary 27, 2017 - The governments of Ethiopia and Cuba have agreed to further boost long-standing bilateral relations. Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and the visiting Vice President of Cuba Salvador Mesa have discussed on bilateral issues. The two sides have conferred on enhancing the age-long bilateral ties between the two countries, Ethiopian Ambassador to Cuba Dewano Kedir told ENA. Following the discussion, the Cuban Vice President told reporters that his country is desirous to further consolidate the existing ties with Ethiopia. The Vice President affirmed that the two countries will continue to work together on issues of common concern on bilateral and global issues.
