Ethiopian Airlines voted Middle East and Africa Airline of the YearThe largest airline group in Africa, Ethiopian Airlines Group, has been voted as Middle East and Africa Airline of the Year 2017. The winners in the Middle East and Africa Aviation 100 Awards category were chosen through a customer survey conducted by Airline Economics Magazine. SEE ALSO:Ethiopian is said to have outperformed major airlines in the Middle East and Africa to have won the award. Philip Tozer-Pennington, Managing Director of Airline Economics and Aviation News Ltd, commented “Ethiopian Airlines is an African and an international airline success story”. This is not the first award Ethiopian Airlines has been awarded, with the SKYTRAX World Airline Award for Best Airline in Africa, Best Airline Staff in Africa, and AFRAA’s Best Airline in Africa all under its belt.
