Ethiopian Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreement with Boeing for five of the manufacturer’s newest freighter model, the Boeing 777-8F. The five new aircraft are expected to complement Ethiopian’s current cargo fleet of three Boeing 737-800F and nine 777F airplanes, which the airline operates on flights throughout Africa and the world. Boeing officially launched the Boeing 777-8F in January 2022, with a launch order from Qatar Airways for 34 aircraft. Jan-Hendrik is an aviation enthusiast from Germany, loves to travel the world and fly on as many aircraft as possible. His first flight was with a Condor 757 to Spain and has been interested in aviation ever since.
