Ethiopian Airlines plans to resume flights to Namibia from Friday next week, as the country opens its borders. “The Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Forestry recently announced the reopening of the Namibian borders from 1 September 2020 as part of the Tourism Revival Initiative. “It's with this background that Ethiopian Airlines will resume its commercial flights and cargo operations to/from Windhoek from 11 September,” Mandani said in the statement. Namibia announced last week it would open its borders to visitors amid the country's Covid-19 stage of emergency lockdown. The country's revival plan aims to re-establish the tourism sector.
