Ethiopian Airlines extends transit tour to passengers

The airline stated that the new city tour package organised by ET Holidays, the tour operator wing of Ethiopian Airlines, would take transiting passengers with six to eight hours’ time in the running capital, Addis Ababa, on a journey through one of the landmarks of the city, the National Museum. It added that the tour would be accompanied with a taste of Ethiopian Coffee and souvenir shopping at affordable prices to help passengers experience the unique flavours of Addis Ababa during their brief stay. The Group Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, Mr Tewolde GebreMariam, said as travel had gone digital with the airline’s innovative technology solutions, including Ethiopia Mobile App and online platforms, transit passengers in Addis Ababa, could enjoy personalised and end-to-end travel experience. According to him, Ethiopian Mobile App enables passengers to secure their visa electronically within four hours from any part of the world as well as book their flights.
