In the last year Ethiopian Airlines has seen load factors go from 70% on average to close to 95 – 100%. “This is a great option for anyone wanting to explore Ethiopia for a few days, and then continuing on their journey elsewhere that Ethiopian Airlines flies,” said Radonic. Ethiopian Airlines is negotiating options with Montreal and it also has a codeshare agreement with Air Canada on its Addis Ababa-Toronto flight. Ethiopian Airlines celebrated 70 years in business in 2016 and won ‘Best Airline in Africa’ at the SKYTRAX World Airline awards in June 2017.
