Ethiopian Airlines asks Pakistan for clarification over fake pilot licenses


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ethiopian Airlines on Saturday sought clarification from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on the issue of some Pakistani pilots having suspected fake licenses. According to details, Ethiopia has written a letter to CAA seeking clarification on the credentials and licenses of five Pakistani pilots working for Ethiopian Airlines. The letter said that the like the rest of the world, the suspected fake licenses of Pakistani pilots has caused concern in Ethiopia as well. Prior to this, the United States banned PIA flights into the country over the issue of fake licenses of some Pakistani pilots. It may be recalled that the government had issued a list of 262 pilots, including 141 pilots of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), who had suspected fake licenses.
