Ethiopian Airlines will increase its presence in the US with a new Atlanta (ATL) service to be launched in May. A source from Ethiopian Airlines told Aviation Week Network on Jan. 13 that the carrier is working on reaching a codeshare agreement with Delta. Meanwhile, Ethiopian also announced a major restoration of its China network and resumed flights to Singapore (SIN). “We plan to open new destinations in the US, Canada, Europe and of course Africa and some parts of Asia,” Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew told Aviation Week Network recently. The ADD-SIN route will be operated 4X-weekly using Boeing 787s.
