On August 18, Bahrain Airport Company celebrated the recommencement of Ethiopian Airlines’ flights between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and Bahrain International Airport. The carrier now operates the route three times a week with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Commenting on the relaunch, Tewolde GebreMariam, group CEO, Ethiopian Airlines, revealed, “With the flourishing trade relations between Ethiopia and the Gulf countries, the availability of efficient air transport services will surely play a great role in ensuring easy movement of people and import and export items.”The new itinerary complements the airline’s network of Middle Eastern destinations, which includes 10 major cities across the region such as Dubai, Beirut, Jeddah, Muscat, and Kuwait.
