Ethiopian Airlines resumed flights to Karachi yesterday, a significant commercial city in Pakistan. This is not the first time Ethiopian Airlines has served Karachi, as it previously operated flights to the city from July 1966 to December 1971, and then resumed the service from June 1993 until July 2004. The airline will operate four flights per week to Karachi, making it the 37th destination in Asia for the airline. Lemma Yadecha, Chief Commercial Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, expressed that the new flight to Karachi would strengthen economic partnerships between the two countries, particularly in terms of enhancing investments and tourism. Pakistan's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Shozab Abas, expressed his satisfaction with the start of the flight, following fruitful discussions and agreements between the two nations.
