The bid, designated for competent service providers, aims to secure businesses offering foreign exchange services across seven available spaces in the airport’s bustling terminal. In the official bid announcement, EAG invites legally established bidders with valid commercial banking services licenses or independent foreign exchange operator permits issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia. Key conditions of participation include restrictions on existing foreign exchange operators at the terminal, who will not be eligible to apply for the designated spaces. The final bid submission deadline is November 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM, with bids being opened at 3:30 PM at the Ethiopian Airlines Group headquarters.
