Ethiopia's flag carrier said in a statement issued on Wednesday that "Ethiopian Airlines B787-900 aircraft with registration ET-AUP had a minor ramp incident at Oslo airport in evening of Tuesday just before departure." "While taxing for de-icing, the tip of the right wing of the aircraft touched a pole and sustained minor damage," an Ethiopian airline statement reads. Ethiopian airlines further disclosed that passengers were re-booked to restore their travel plans after the incident. Ethiopian airline, operating to more than 100 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents, commands the lion's share of the pan-African passenger and cargo network.
