Ethiopia to Start Electronic Coffee Trading in Three TownsJanuary 16, 2017 - Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Marketing Development Authority is set to start electronic coffee trading in three towns as of the end of this Ethiopian fiscal year. Preparations are underway to launch the electronic markets in Hawassa, Nekemte and Humera towns, said Sani Redi, director general of the authority. The electronic trading creates a faster and more efficient platform for traders, he said. According to Sani, the electronic market in Humera town will also include trading of sesame. (FBC)Back
