Ethiopia is set to welcome delegates from across Africa and beyond as it prepares to host the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Addis Ababa on Tuesday, 22 October 2024. The event, which begins at 10:00 local time (07:00 GMT), will take place at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, a state-of-the-art venue known for hosting famous events. This year’s assembly marks Ethiopia’s second opportunity to host the CAF Congress, having previously done so in 2017. The Ethiopian Skylight Hotel is fully equipped to accommodate the influx of delegates, offering spacious meeting rooms, media centers, and hospitality services. Notably, a friendly match at the Addis Ababa Stadium on 21 October, featuring CAF and FIFA officials and legends, will add a festive touch to the proceedings.
