The Ethiopian government has claimed the capture of a Tigrayan city from rebels, AFP reports citing state media. The report comes days after the rebel Tigrayan forces said they were withdrawing from neighboring regions in northern Ethiopia, a step towards a possible ceasefire after 13 months of conflict.
