Russian higher education institutions held presentations focusing on language, culture, history and other achievements in order to share experiences with Ethiopia, in addition to lectures under the titles “Russia and Ethiopia in the fight against colonialism and neocolonialism: the experience of history and the agenda of the future” and “Russian foreign policy in the modern world: the concept of multipolarity”. Promoting business activity and establishing long-term partnerships between Russian and Ethiopian companies were also among the main topics of the forum. The importance of Ethiopia’s accession to the BRICS economic bloc and the prospects for growing trade, economic and investment ties between Moscow and Ethiopia stood out among the topics discussed during the event.
