But the case is real and was recently presented to a court in The Hague. “I just learned that The Court of The Hague ruled against the Teff patent holder,” tweeted Fitsum Arega, who is Ethiopia’s incoming Ambassador to the United States and who previously served as Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission and most recently as PM Abiy Ahmed’s Chief of Staff. The reason for the late announcement is the time for appeal was still running.
