USAID has been actively supporting COHA implementation, leading to improved conditions in northern Ethiopia. Civil society and human rights played a pivotal role in the Ethiopian context, and USAID supports local organizations that advocate for human rights and justice. The agency also collaborates with international human rights monitors to address human rights violations, particularly in northern Ethiopia.
