Ethiopia Premier League title challengers Ethiopia Nigd Bank and Bahir Dar City played to a 2-2 draw on Thursday, while Ethiopia Coffee all but confined Wolkite City to relegation with an emphatic 4-0 win. In the first game, Bahir Dar City drew first blood at the half-hour mark with Tsegaye Abera's 30th-minute giving them a 1-0 lead. Ethiopia Nigd eventually got a break when they won a late penalty which Addis Gidey converted to narrow the gap. Ethiopia Coffee ran riot in the second game at Hawassa International Stadium, beating Wolkite City 4-0. Ethiopia Nigd Bank still lead the log with 57 points followed by Mekelakeya (51 points), Ethiopia Coffee (47 points) and Bahir Dar (46 points).
