An investment forum called Invest Origins which is organized by Land Bank and Development Corporation (LBDC) will be held in Addis Ababa between January 26 and 27 at the Ethiopian Science Museum. According to Lensa Mekonnen, CEO of LBDC, the forum will foster innovation and the Ethiopian investment landscape. The CEO also stated that Invest Origins was a forum where the country could forge lasting business alliances. It is estimated that the investment forum will secure investments worth USD 2 billion given the various investment opportunities Ethiopia is offering. The Corporation plans to reach an agreement with three companies at the Invest Origins forum.
