Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia to Pursue Closer TiesSeptember 6, 2018 - Ethiopian, Eritrean and Somali leaders held a tripartite meeting in the Eritrean capital Asmara yesterday, according to FBC report. Following the meeting, the leaders signed a Joint Cooperation Agreement in the Eritrean capital. Following the normalization of relations between the two countries, Ethiopia and Eritrea, Ethiopia has reopened its embassy in Asmara yesterday. The Ethiopian premier visisted Asmara this week, the second since the break out of peace between the two countries. The Somali leader has also visited Eritrea recently in a sign of peace reigning in the Horn of Africa region.
