Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia presidents sign cooperation agreement – New Business Ethiopia


Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia, President Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea and President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of Somalia, who met in Asmara yesterday, have signed agreement to cooperate in multiple frontiers. “Tripartite Agreement between Eritrea, Ethiopia & Somalia provides for, inter alia, i) comprehensive cooperation to advance the goals of their peoples; ii) building of close political, economic, social, cultural & security ties; iii) coordination to promote regional peace & security,” Information Minister of Eritrea Yemane G. Meskel has twitted. The Foreign Ministers of Eritrea, Ethiopia & Somalia are travelling to Djibouti today. The visit is the first initiative of the Joint High-Level Committee established by the three countries at the Tripartite Summit and the Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Cooperation signed thereof, according to Mr. Yemane. The Ministry of Information of Eritrea stated that the Governments of the three countries in East Africa have reached the following agreement:
