Ethiopia Coffee produced one of their best results of the season when they beat Dire Dawa City 4-1 to signal once again their pedigree. It looked like an even matched battle in the first half with chances falling to both sides but no goals as they both went to the break goalless. However, Mesfin Tafesse broke the deadlock when he powered home from close range to give Coffee a 1-0 lead on 48 minutes.
