Addis Ababa hosted the International Pharmaceuticals Suppliers’ Conference today aiming to attract manufacturers and suppliers into the local pharmaceuticals market. During the conference, the Ministry of Health and Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Service (EPSS) called investors to increase their engagement in pharmaceuticals manufacturing. Abdulkedir Gelgelo, EPSS’ Director General, on his part, invited pharmaceutical organizations to engage in the import and export trade of medicines and medical supplies. The conference saw the participation of officials from the Ministry of Health, EPSS, Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority, Ambassadors, and 103 international suppliers of pharmaceuticals.
