The defeated opposition candidate in DR Congo’s presidential election- Martin Fayulu has vowed to challenge in court the result that declared Felix Tshishekedi winner. Fayulu says, the people of the nation deserved to know the truth of the election, which he said had led to a coup. The influential catholic church, which posted 40,000 election observers, also said the result did not match its findings. Fayulu says he will do whatever is possible for him to get the truth because the Congolese want change. If the result, is confirmed, it would create the first orderly transfer of power in DR Congo since independence from Belgium in 1960.
