The 3rd edition of the Agrofood and Plastprintpack Exhibition Ethiopia was inaugurated on May 9 with the participation of 152 companies from 18 countries. Organized by German trade show firm Fair-trade Messe in collaboration with its Ethiopian partner, Prana Events, the three-day exhibition features country pavilions for China, France, Germany, Italy, and Turkey. The number of Chinese exhibitors, at 11 last year, rose to 67 this year, organizers said. Other exhibitors come from such countries as Austria, Cote d'Ivoire, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. In his welcoming speech, Fair-trade Messe Managing Director Paul Mark said the event is attracting more and more participants from different countries, creating opportunities for businesses in the industry.
