The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation (MIIC) have selected Ethiopia’s natural snacks startup, TruLuv Granola, to be part of the Next 100 African Startups Initiative. TruLuv will have the opportunity to participate in the Africa 2018 Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on 7-9 December and connect with senior government officials, including Head of States, international financial institutions, and potential investors. “Our vision is to become the world’s favorite healthy Ethiopian food, sustainably sourced from and crafted by Ethiopian women,” says Blayne Tesfaye. TruLuv Granola is a healthy, artisanal snacks manufacturing business located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, operating since January 2017. Currently, TruLuv distributes granola snack products to Addis Ababa retailers and hotels.
