The fully state-owned telecom operator in Ethiopia, Ethio Telecom has announced offering share to the public worth 100 billion Birr. As of today 100, million Birr shares if offered as the first-round regular stock sales. The price of one share is 300 Birr with a minimum of 33 shares worth 9,900 Birr, and maximum total 3,333 shares worth 999,900 Birr. The share can be purchased using Ethio Telecom supper app and payment can be made within 48 hours. Buyers of Ethio Telecom shares will pay 1.5% service fee and additional asset tax in addition to the share price.
