Ethio Telecom has announced to it has officially launched the 5th generation service by building 5th generation mobile service stations in various areas of North West Region of Bahadar city. It has enabled the corporate and individual customers to benefit from the legacy of 5th generation mobile network technology. The 5th generation technology is a modern wireless network technology that reaches a high speed of up to 10 GB per second (Gbs), and it is a technology that reaches 1 millisecond in terms of ultra-low latency. The implementation of the 5th generation network will greatly reduce network congestion and make life easier for customers by using high-quality and fast communication, digital solutions and digital financial services. 5G for smart healthcare and hospital management, smart agriculture, smart education, smart mining, smart manufacturing, smart airport and travel services, smart transportation, smart home, broadcasting and entertainment, cloud-based digital services including games, and artificial intelligence.
