The City of London is kicking off three essential infrastructure renewal projects in the city on Monday. City staff said residents can expect construction activity and road closures downtown, in Old East Village, and along Hamilton Road once crews have set up their sites. During construction, drivers and cyclists will be able to access Dundas Street off of Rectory Street to head east only. Richmond StreetSewer upgrades will begin on Richmond Street between King Street and York street, as part of the city's multi-phase downtown sewer separation project. Eastbound traffic on Hamilton Road will be diverted onto Trafalgar Street and people heading west from Highbury Avenue should consider using Trafalgar Street as well, city officials said.
