FILIPINO boxing legend Sen. Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao might be 42 years old already, but he is still a legitimate threat to anyone in the boxing ring. This is what Derrick James, the trainer of undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) Welterweight Champion Errol Spence Jr., said about the eight-division world champ and current World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title holder. “[Pacquiao] is always a threat, a big threat, man,” James told BWTM Sports and Gaming in a video interview posted on YouTube on WednesdayJames, however, doubts the willingness of Pacquiao to fight Spence despite the latter saying that he is open to fight the former once. James recalled the interview that the media had with Pacquiao when Spence beat Mikey Garcia in March 2019. “Whatever [Pacquiao] saw in Spence, he damn sure didn’t see it when he fought Mikey Garcia because he came to the fight to supposedly challenge Errol next, and he starts going ‘uh uh uh.’ When they started asking him questions, he started stammering.
