It was during a talk between Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and Eritrean President Isaias Afeworki in Cairo, Egypt, that the former expressed his country’s interest to work in alliance with Eritrea on regional and continental issues. Eritrea sent a high-level delegation to Sudan on May 20.
