My other success was an Oregonian, a fish I caught in Crater Lake National Park. Crater Lake is piercing blue, a lake in the hull of a dormant volcano. Because up until the late 1800s Crater Lake didn’t hold fish. There is no catch-and-release at Crater Lake. I’d caught a fish!
