The Indian Association of Rockies will be celebrating the 13th Diwali Cultural Fest in Erie this weekend. From 3-9 p.m. Saturday at Erie High School, 3180 County Road 5, attendees can catch a glimpse of one of India’s biggest and brightest events. Diwali is a Hindu festival of lights, with the light representing the triumph of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. In an email, Gangwar said the festival “illuminates the country with its brilliance and dazzles all with its joy. He said it’s important to celebrate different cultures in the county, as the Boulder County population continues to diversify.
