Turkana county has received over a year's supply of personal protective equipment from Equity Bank. The bank had been supplying the County government with the PPEs for the last one and half years. Equity bank CEO James Mwangi announced that the bank will extend its support of the supplies by an extra one and a half year. Mwangi lauded Turkana County government for investing in its employees and residents through prioritising health and education. Turkana county has reported 1,587 cases of Covid-19 , 50 active cases, 1,504 recoveries and 26 deaths.
