Profit-taking on high capitalised stocks dips market marginally by 0.5 per cent, on Wednesday, as the All-Share Index declined to 25,215.04 points. Hence, the NSE Banking, NSE Consumer Goods and NSE Industrial indices tanked by 0.14 per cent, 0.27 per cent, and 2.54 per cent respectively. On the flip side, the NSE Insurance and NSE Oil/Gas Indices rose by 1.44 per cent and 0.20 per cent respectively. The total volume of trades decreased by 0.8 per cent to 266.65 million units, valued at N3.18 billion and exchanged in 3,978 deals.
