Environment and climate change minister visits Sask., carbon capture project

Canada's Environment and Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna visited the Boundary Dam Carbon Capture project Wednesday. She made the stop in Estevan, Sask., with provincial Environment Minister Herb Cox and SaskPower executives. The recently elected federal government hopes to dramatically slash greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. McKenna said she's looking at different technologies being used to tackle greenhouse gas emissions around the country. McKenna also took time to talk to people from the University of Saskatchewan about reducing emissions in the agricultural sector.
