The Hindu Prize for Fiction was instituted in 2010 to recognise and encourage Indian writing in English. The Hindu Prize for Non-fiction is instituted to recognise the best works of writers of Indian non-fiction in English and translations from regional languages. How to enterFor the fiction prize, publishers can submit English novels or short-stories collections by a single author published between July 2017 and June 2018. Books submitted for The Hindu Prize 2017 will not be accepted. Entries must be marked ‘The Hindu Prize 2018: Non-Fiction/Fiction’ and sent to Shalini Arun, Sr Associate Editor, The Hindu, Kasturi Buildings, 859-860, Anna Salai, Chennai 600002.
