Representatives from different Vietnamese enterprises committed to fulfill their responsibility to protect wildlife, including rhinos’ horns, at a workshop in Hanoi. The workshop, titled “Enterprises lead corporate social responsibility to integrate zero-tolerance to wildlife consumption”, was organised by the Wildlife Trade Monitoring Network (TRAFFIC) and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Madelon Willemsen, country director of TRAFFIC Viet Nam, said the participation of entrepreneurs played an important role in preventing illegal trade of wildlife. During the workshop, representatives were supplied with information related to the illegal trade and consumption of wild animals, as well as initiatives to ease the problem in Viet Nam.
