The Women’s Affairs Reform Commission had proposed criminalizing marital rape, ensuring equal parental rights, introducing a unified family law framework, and protecting women’s inheritance rights. The demand is clear and urgent: rights, not rhetoric; justice, not justification; action, not delay.
