I knew, logically, that the Cubs couldn’t ACTUALLY win every single game the rest of the way. The winning streak, at some point, was going to have to end. BUT THAT WAS TOTALLY SUPER ANNOYING THAT THE WINNING STREAK ENDED TODAY. It just felt like the energy was swelling, and a win today would’ve REALLY set things in motion for tomorrow and the next day.
