An English backpacker has allegedly been raped by a man who recruited her to work on his rural farm in Australia. The 23-year-old claims she was sexually assaulted on a number of occasions after she went to work at the farm in Mondure, Queensland last year. A 48-year-old man has been charged with 'deceptively recruiting', sexually assaulting and raping the young woman. Backpacker: The 23-year-old woman had gone to work on the farm as part of the conditions of her Working Holiday visaThe 48-year-old is expected to appear in Magistrates Court in nearby Murgon today or Friday. Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are appealing for information from anyone who knows of similar offences in relation to this case.
