England and Scotland have been drawn together in the Women’s World Cup in France next summer. Scotland are making their debut in the knock-out stages, while England, now managed by Philip Neville, are looking to improve on their semi-final showing in Canada four years ago when the US beat Japan in the final. The Group D for clash between the two home nations on June 9 will be the first match for both teams. England also face a rematch against Japan, to whom they suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat in the last four in Canada.
