England’s tour of South Africa has been called off today following the outbreak of Covid-19 among both teams’ camps and staff at their hotel. The two countries completed their initial T20I series which the touring team won comprehensively 3-0 on 1 December. Sri Lanka are to tour South Africa mid December for two Tests. But Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is yet to make any decision on the fate of the tour in the light of the present developments in South Africa. Heinrich Klaarksen of South Africa was tested positive on Friday while two English players were tested positive on Sunday.
