Tourists returning from Greece face different quarantine rules in different parts of BritainEngland defied calls to quarantine arrivals from Greece today amid renewed demands for airport testing as an alternative to travel restrictions. Westminster signalled that there would be no change in the status of holidaymakers from Greece despite the imposition of quarantine measures by Scotland and Wales. However, the government was due to confirm tomorrow that people arriving into all parts of the UK from Portugal would be forced to self-isolate for two weeks. The change is likely to be made from 4am on Saturday, exactly a fortnight after a quarantine-free “travel corridor” was established between the UK and Portugal.
