Nine days after the fourth and last test against South Africa, England starts its three-test series against the West Indies. LONDON (AP) " England will play a combined seven tests in two months against touring teams South Africa and West Indies amid its grueling 2017 summer schedule that also sees international cricket return to Somerset for the first time in 34 years. The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the schedule on Friday, with England playing three one-day internationals and three Twenty20s against South Africa before the four-test series begins on July 6 through Aug. 8. Taunton, Somerset's home, will host the second ODI against South Africa. Between the ODIs and T20s, England will host the Champions Trophy.
