SLIM RIVER: An engineer was killed after he fell from his motorcycle and was run over by two vehicles at Km375, southbound, on the North-South Expressway (NSE) here last night. The victim, identified as Izzudin Hamdan, 26, from Sitiawan, near here, died on the spot in the 12.25am incident. Izuddin and his motorcycle were run over and dragged by the SUV for a distance, before both vehicles caught on fire. “The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and was sent to the Slim River Hospital for further action," Ahmad said when contacted today. He added that the accident is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
