more-inThe Delhi Police have arrested an engineer for allegedly duping 15 businessmen across the Capital of electronics worth ₹80 lakh. According to the police, Mandarwal has previously worked with multi-national companies before working on contract-based assignments, which included CDOT. The police said that Mandarwal knew that three people by the name Ajay Kumar worked for CDOT, which made it easier for him to defraud the businessmen. Held on way to court“Mandarwal fled after receiving the orders and went missing after which the businessmen approached the police,” said ADCP (south) Chinmoy Biswal. The police then learnt he was part of attempted robbery case in UP and arrested him while on his way to appear in Ghaziabad court for that case.
