Directives for promoting solar energy“The solar plant will help us significantly reduce our electricity bills and lower our carbon footprint. “Our power purchase agreement with Starlet is the first of many as we plan to invest $20 million in solar assets in Pakistan in the near future,” said McCarthy. “We congratulate Starlet for its forward-thinking initiative and sustainability leadership.”According to the statement, the signed power purchase agreement will enable businesses to go solar without any upfront capital investment. The company will design, build, commission, operate and maintain the installed solar plant for the duration of the contract.
