Cassius Kitchen competes in stage one of the Aorere Enduro in Nelson's Maitai Valley, with spectators just metres away from the fast, high-flying action. The long-awaited Aorere Enduro has kicked off, with mountainbikers from around the world shredding trails in Nelson. More than 180 riders are competing in the first round of the Enduro World Series (EWS) Asia-Pacific series in Nelson's Maitai Valley over Labour Weekend. One of those competitors, Nelson teenager Rebecca Hufflett was excited to be competing in her first Enduro World Series event. Earlier this month, Hufflett took out the top place in the under-16 girls category at the National Schools Mountain Bike Championships in Dunedin.
